Bi-Colour Tourmaline Baguettes

Absolutely gorgeous collection of bi-colour and parti-colour baguettes. They are small - in the range 5x3mm - 7x5mm and there is such a cornucopia of colours; why not have a browse? With prices starting at $8.10 per stone you can afford to bag more than one favourite! These are only available in the Hong Kong shop.

Rose Cut Pearls

They are finally here and they are amazing! Rose cut pearls; a little idea of mine that I thought might be interesting! They are; eye-catching and unusual and fascinating. I've got them in white, pink and purple in the 7.5-8mm size and in white in the 10-10.5mm size. Prices start at $7.50 for a 7.5-8mm pearl.

Raspberry Red Rose Cut Rhodolite Garnet

I'm so excited to have this back in stock! It's been a long time since I've had the 6mm rose cuts and the 4mm rose cuts have also been out for a while. This is gorgeous material; pinkish-red on the rhodolite colour range and with excellent saturation and vibrancy. It's $4.35 for a 4mm stone and $23 for a 6mm stone.

Tasty Turquoise 3mm Cabochons

This stuff flies in and flies out. Happily I'm here to report that a new batch has just landed! Lovely bright and blue; it's a snip at $1.70 a stone!

Also seen this month...

I've got pearls on the brain, and they're the birthstone for June, so I enjoyed checking out Pearls Trends in the Jewellery Editor. Have a look at GIA's article for more info on this lovely gem. Left are YOKO London's Twilight rings, available also with a pink freshwater pearl; absolutely gorgeous. Gem Gossip has some useful advice on how to tell whether your gold is actually gold and GIA reports on chatoyancy in Ethiopian opal; a phenomenon not normally observed in opal.
