I've got a cornucopia of new beads this month - I haven't done a lot of beads in the past but I am developing a carefully curated selection of different and unique stones, cuts and finishes. As promised last month I also have a lot of new turquoise freeforms in a variety of sizes. Next month I will be doing a large restock, as well as taking new stocks of some charoite and calibrated rutile quartz cabochons, as well as hopefully re-stocks of labradorite in popular sizes, such as 5mm and 6mm. I'm also excitedly anticipating some rose cut spinel for the first time ever!
We also have a special offer this month, but you'll have to scroll down and open the gift box to see what it is!
As always, for more information on any of these stories, check out my blog. |

I've got a variety of new beads in stones and cuts and finishes that are a little bit different. More selection in the ever-popular fossilized wood and some fab large chrysocolla. |

These are always really popular, and I have them in a range of sizes to suit all designs (and pockets!). Lovely quality material, some with shiny pyrite inclusions, and a lovely polish. |

| The amethyst flower beads shaped like lilies have proved so popular that I am now offering them in a smaller size: 15-20mm. I'm not sure if this is because they are amethyst, or the shape, so look out for some in frosted quartz and other stones as well. These smaller amethyst ones are $1.20 per stone. . | |

| I've got just a few of these, and I am hoping that they are going to be a little taster for later in the month when I take delivery of some nice calibrated rutile quartz in a variety of sizes; rounds and ovals. I'm also toying with rose cut - what do you reckon? These are $22 each, and lovely quality, with clean body material and great patterning on each stone. | |

| | I also do custom sourcing - these fantastic tanzanites are big, bold, fantastically clean. Between 3 and 7.5 carats they are priced from $625 up. Tanzanite is a fascinating stone; hugely pleochroic, this makes it really challenging to cut, as the cutter will be aiming to get the best blue colour, without any odd pleochric shades causing disprortionately odd effects. It's common to find strange cutting anomalies; hugely off-centre or overly deep pavilions, thick or uneven girdles and other asymmetries. These are all pretty good; no excess weight and good shapes.
